For parents who have children who are labeled as LGBTQ behind their backs and placed in so called LGBTQ affinity groups, this is illegal discrimination based on sex. You have plenty of legal recourse, but first you must file with state authorities or federal authorities. Fortunately, I’m going to give you detailed instructions on how you may do the filing. Get the names of the people and the dates were labeled as such. If there is some sort of racial division or giving one race preference while demonizing other races, again get the names of the people and the dates it happened. If you can take pictures of videos, this is additional evidence. If incriminating evidence exists on your school’s website, collect that evidence. Or perhaps some evidence is in the school syllabus, your child’s homework, or perhaps questionable textbooks have been selected. Take pictures of all that. If you have any email correspondence from school officials, save that if it has proof of illegal discrimination and/or grooming.
I just heard an interview with a Seattle-area [now-activist] mother who, in the 30-min interview with Wesley Yang (it's on his Substack), said that she wanted to bring a lawsuit against a school-contracted therapist (or teacher, I forget) but couldn't find a lawyer who knew enough about the issue. Whether or not she's interested, other parents will be. Seems like you've already built some of the structure that lawsuits could then be built upon further.
You should connect with Wesley Yang and this Seattle-area mother. All organizing strengthens the forces against gender ideology in the schools. I assume that schools would pull way back on this overreach if they knew that they could face lawsuits for their actions.
I just posted on his substack that I can gladly help Jennifer and her organization file complaints. Please share with my article with anyone who might need that information.
And Chloe Cole's new lawsuit via https://libertycenter.org/ is fantastic. American lawsuits can have a chilling effect all over the world.
Even if others (such as here in Canada) aren't directly affected (ie our MDs or regulatory boards aren't sued), American lawsuits can scare other nations' systems into reining in their outlaw therapists, MDs, and surgeons since they ALL still need to pay professional insurance, and insurers hate liability.
They are still not allowed to treat kids in anyway differently due to sexuality, or group them together, or groom them. All of which is sexual harassment and illegal under Title IX.
You’re saying that voluntary affinity groups based on sexual orientation are illegal? What is the legal harm to a gay child who willing only joins one, and what is the legal harm to a straight child when a gay child joins one? What about a gay-straight alliance group?
It is illegal to use taxpayer funds to segregate students by race, sex, or sexual orientation. Yes, voluntary affinity groups are therefore illegal as I personally reported them and got them resolved. It is not up for the teacher to label these kids or create these groups, period. That is the law.

I have found that the government lawyers in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, NY and NYC are actually conservative and yes, they will act on complaints. In Albany, NY, the Hudson Valley, and Ithaca the government lawyers are liberal and won't do anything. So it depends on where you live in NYS. I think the government lawyers in NYC are tired of how wokeness has made the city blow up in crime. So where in NY do you live? This is New York Human Rights Division, their complaint form. https://forms.ny.gov/s3/nysdhrcomplaint They will act if your child is labeled or treated differently because of the lgbtq label, or if your child is discriminated on the basis of race or sex. They also act on employment discrimination, housing discrimination, and social services discrimination. Example NYC has three times the amount of homeless men than women because of discrimination against men. I complained against all the non profits and social services agencies that were women only, and a number of them already opened up to men. There were social service agencies that only helped gay HIV positive people. But I complaiend to New York Human Rights Division, and now they help all disabled people, straight and gay. So you do have legal recourse in NY, so long as you are not in Albany or Ithaca. Those liberals will do NOTHING. NYC NYDHR is very aggressive, as are the Buffalo, Syracuse, and Rochestor ones. Long Island doesn't do as much. Hope this helps.

We'll see!
Agreed. Plus there are these organizations that can help parents expose what is happening in schools.

Moms for Liberty is another organization.

Then there's American's First Legal. Email all these people with whatever things are going on in your child's school.
Definitely. I will reach out to them.

What if you live in a state like New York where trans ideology is not only acceptable but also entrenched ?
