I was recruited by Barnard way back in the 1970s but decided to go the public university route. The man I met in my freshman year and married 3 years later thinks he's a woman. Since 2015, our grown sons suddenly demand me to "be kind" to the father who told them not to call him dad, which traumatized them at ages 5 & 8. Turns out, he wanted to be a Barnard coed.
