As a staunch advocate for equality and inclusivity in education, I embarked on a mission to challenge the presence of race-based scholarships on Seattle Central College's website. These scholarships, which were clearly in violation of Title VI, the federal law that prohibits racial discrimination in government-funded programs, raised concerns about fairness and equal access to educational opportunities. Drawing on the precedent set by the Supreme Court's rulings in Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) vs. Harvard University and Students for Fair Admissions vs. University of North Carolina, I was determined to address this issue.
